Abuja

Chief Hon. Mazi Paul Chukwuka Obu, known as Ochubaradike Ohia Global, has secured the All Progressives Congress [APC] ticket for Orumba North and South Federal Constituency in the just concluded primary election. The result positions him as the party’s candidate for the Federal House of Representatives seat ahead of the 2027 general election.

Stakeholders across Anambra State have welcomed the outcome, describing it as a victory for service, integrity, and purposeful leadership. Party delegates and supporters said the result reflects confidence in Obu’s ability to represent the constituency effectively in the National Assembly.

Organizers of the congratulatory message said the win is not a personal achievement alone but a validation of the trust placed in Obu by party members. They noted that his track record has made him a recognizable figure in grassroots mobilization across Orumba North and South.

Supporters attribute the victory to years of consistent engagement with communities and advocacy on issues affecting residents. They pointed to his involvement in infrastructure development, youth and women empowerment, education, healthcare, and agricultural advancement as evidence of his focus on practical solutions.

The message from delegates was clear, according to party faithful. Orumba North and South is seeking a representative who is accessible, experienced, and capable of attracting federal presence to the constituency. Obu’s network and previous engagements were cited as key factors in securing the ticket.

The primary result is being framed as the start of a new phase for the constituency. Expectations center on effective representation, accountable leadership, and tangible development projects that directly benefit residents. Supporters say the mandate comes with high expectations.

Party stakeholders expressed confidence that Obu’s people-centered approach will give Orumba North and South a stronger voice in Abuja. They believe he is positioned to push for federal projects and to defend the interests of the constituency without compromise once elected.

Attention is now turning to the general election. Party members have been urged to maintain the unity and energy displayed during the primary and channel it toward securing victory for both the APC and its candidate in Orumba North and South.

In messages of congratulation, supporters described the win as a reward for consistency, sacrifice, and belief in the potential of the constituency. They said thousands of families are looking to Obu for leadership that prioritizes equity and inclusion.

The statement closed with prayers for wisdom, strength, and guidance as Obu prepares for the campaign. The campaign team, MPO Media Crew, said the focus now is on mobilizing across Orumba North and South to translate the primary victory into a decisive win for the APC in 2027.
