The Project Alert on Teens Development Initiative, PATDI, has opened applications for 200 Volunteer Ambassadors ahead of its 1st National Teen Summit aimed at promoting a crime-free society among teenagers aged 13–19.
The summit, themed “Crime-Free Society Is Possible Among Teenagers” with the slogan “We Must Get It Right,” aims to convene over 20,000 teenagers aged 13 to19 in what organizers describe as one of Africa’s largest youth gatherings. The event is also positioned as part of a global impact drive and a Guinness World Record vision for youth transformation.
PATDI said it is seeking passionate volunteers, youth leaders, educators, students, media personalities, advocates, and nation builders to join the movement. Volunteers will be expected to promote positive values among teens, champion crime prevention and youth development, mobilize communities and schools, and support advocacy and awareness campaigns.
Selected participants will be officially invested as PATDI Volunteer Ambassadors and recognized as pioneers of the historic teen development project. Organizers added that contributors will have their names recorded in PATDI’s Golden Impact Record for supporting a crime-free future for teenagers.
