The Executive Vice Chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council, AMAC, Hon. Mohammed Yusuf Nadabo, has emerged as the Vice Chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria, ALGON, FCT Chapter. His election was announced on Tuesday by Kingsley Madaki, Chief Press Secretary to the Executive Chairman of AMAC.
According to Madaki, Nadabo’s emergence is widely acknowledged as a recognition of his dedication, leadership capacity, and commitment to grassroots development within the Federal Capital Territory. His tenure at AMAC has been marked by efforts to improve service delivery at the local level.
Stakeholders across the six area councils reacted to the development with optimism. They expressed confidence that Nadabo will bring his wealth of experience from AMAC to the regional platform of ALGON.
Residents also lauded the choice, noting his track record of engaging communities and driving people-focused projects. Many expect his leadership to translate into stronger collaboration among councils.
In his new capacity as ALGON FCT Vice Chairman, Hon. Nadabo is expected to work collaboratively to strengthen local government administration, foster unity among the area councils, and drive impactful governance across the FCT.
