The Mayor of Orumba South Local Government Area, Hon. Shedrack Azubuike, has appointed Hon. Chukwudolue-Okoye Ifeoma Charity as his Special Adviser on Special Duties, the Council announced in a press release over the weekend.
The appointment was disclosed by Hon. Benjamin Frank Chinanu, Special Adviser to the Mayor on Media and Publicity. According to the press release, the move is part of efforts to strengthen the Council’s transformation agenda.
Hon. Chukwudolue-Okoye retired recently as the Head of Local Government Administration, HLGA, for Orumba South after completing her tenure with diligence and commitment. The Mayor said her experience and service record informed the decision to retain her in government.
The new Special Adviser brings years of civil service expertise to the role. The Council said her background in local government administration will be key to policy delivery and special assignments.
“The Council believes that with Hon. Chukwudolue-Okoye Ifeoma Charity in the Orumba South Transformation team, our journey of taking Orumba South to the world will be sustained,” the release added.
