“On behalf of myself, Chief Ambrose Egwuonwu, President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Cross River State Chapter, my family, and the entire leadership of our chapter, I heartily join millions of Ndi Anambra and Ndigbo across the globe to celebrate a quintessential son of Igboland, the Executive Governor of Anambra State, His Excellency, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, Olu Atuegwu, on the occasion of his 66th birthday.
“Today is not just a celebration of years added to your life. It is a celebration of impact, of ideas turned into infrastructure, and of intellect translated into governance that touches the lives of ordinary people,” he hailed the governor.
He continued: “Your life has remained a shining testament to visionary leadership, intellectual excellence, and an unwavering commitment to the progress and transformation of Anambra State and the Igbo nation at large.
“Under your purposeful leadership, Anambra has witnessed a deliberate march toward modernity. Your administration has restored the confidence of the people in governance through strategic infrastructural development, urban renewal, and people-oriented policies that prioritize the welfare of the citizenry.
“From the aggressive road construction drive to the redefinition of security architecture, from the clean and green agenda to investments in education and healthcare, you have shown that governance can be both visionary and practical.”
What stands you out, Still hailing the governor, he went on: “Your Excellency_, is your courage to take bold decisions in the face of daunting challenges. Your passion for building a livable and prosperous homeland — “Anambra of our dreams,” continues to inspire hope not only among Ndi Anambra but among Ndigbo worldwide.
“Indeed, your legacy in public service, from your days as CBN Governor to now, is one of innovation, discipline, and sustainable development. You have proven that leadership is about leaving systems better than you met them.
“As Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Cross River State Chapter, we are particularly proud of the way you carry the Igbo identity with dignity on the national stage. You represent the best of our values: industry, knowledge, and a commitment to community progress.”
Concluding, he prayed this: “As you mark this remarkable milestone of 66 years, we pray that Almighty God grants you continued wisdom, sound health, divine strength, and guidance to accomplish even greater feats in the service of Anambra State, Ndigbo, and humanity.
