The Accord Party, FCT Chapter, has formally unveiled its candidates for the upcoming general elections following a successful affirmative mock primary election held at the party’s state secretariat, according to a press release
signed by Emenike Egbusunwa, SSA Media & Publicity to Hon. Joshua Chinedu Obika.
The FCT Accord Chairman, who made the official declaration, confirmed Hon. Ezekiel Musa Dalhatu, popularly known as MC Gida Gida, as the party’s Senatorial Candidate for the Federal Capital Territory.
In the same vein, Hon. Joshua Chinedu Obika was ratified as the Accord Party candidate for the AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
The primary exercise was conducted peacefully and in full compliance with the Electoral Act. Officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, deployed to the FCT closely monitored the process.
Party leadership lauded the seamless and transparent exercise, reaffirming its commitment to democratic ideals and issue-driven campaigns as the nation prepares for the forthcoming polls.
