Stakeholders in Anambra South Senatorial Zone have said the zone requires tested competence and effective representation in the National Assembly ahead of the 2027 general elections, citing Senator Emmanuel C. Nwachukwu, Onọdụgo, as the man for the job.
They described Senator Nwachukwu as a bridge-builder who is not a stranger to the people of Anambra South. According to them, “So far in the National Assembly he has walked with us, worked with us, and spoken for us.”
Speaking under the banner, “Why Anambra South Needs Onọdụgo Now,” the group noted that Anambra South is blessed with commerce, industry, human capital, and natural resources that must be matched with strong legislative representation to unlock federal opportunities.
They said Senator Nwachukwu will prioritize attracting federal projects and empowerment programs that directly impact the seven Local Government Areas (LGAs) in the zone: Nnewi North, Nnewi South, Ekwusigo, Ihiala, Orumba North, Orumba South, and Aguata.
On legislation, the supporters stated that Onọdụgo will make laws that directly protect and improve the lives of small business owners, farmers, and traders, while also creating platforms to support youth and women across the senatorial district.
They further emphasized the need for a strong voice in Abuja, adding that Senator Nwachukwu will boldly and effectively speak for Ndi Anambra South on critical issues of security, infrastructure, and economic development.
“Umunnem ndi Anambra South, this is about competence and the time is now. Let us come together and support a man who will represent us with dignity, attract impact, and make us proud in the Red Chamber,” the statement read.
The group concluded with a call to action: Support Senator Emmanuel C. Nwachukwu for Senate 2027. Support APGA. Nke a bu nke anyi, meaning: “This one is our own.”
