The Member representing AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency, of the Federal Capital Territory (FC), Hon. Joshua Chinedu Obika, has presented an exceptional account of his stewardship to constituents, drawing widespread support for a second term in office, according to a press release issued Tuesday by Amb. Emenike Egbusunwa, Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the lawmaker.
A broad coalition of constituents publicly endorsed his performance at the gathering, including non-indigenous traditional rulers, civil society groups, critical stakeholders, women, and youth bodies. The endorsement reflected what organizers described as growing confidence in his leadership and service delivery across Abuja North.
As a gesture of appreciation, Hon. Obika gifted vehicles to several non-indigenous traditional leaders serving in the FCT, including the Onu Atah Igala, the Sarkin Hausawa, and the Tor Tiv. The presentation was seen as recognition of their role in promoting unity and peaceful coexistence among diverse communities in the constituency.
Addressing the gathering, Hon. Obika reaffirmed his commitment to delivering more impactful dividends of democracy and quality representation. He said his record of good works should serve as the basis for constituents to assess his contribution and renew their mandate.
He urged residents to continue supporting his vision, pledging to build on the achievements already recorded in AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency. The lawmaker stressed that sustainable development requires partnership between elected representatives and the people.
Hon. Obika promised to sustain inclusive engagement with all communities while focusing on projects that enhance livelihoods, security, and infrastructure. He called on constituents to remain united and proactive in advancing the growth of Abuja North.
