Dr. Odiraa Nwankwor, the APGA Candidate for Orumba North/South Federal Constituency, Anambra State, has congratulated Dr. Godwin Maduka, the Okosisi Orumba, and the people of Umuchukwu, on the historic approval of the Transatlantic University of Medicine and Health Sciences by the National Universities Commission (NUC).
In a congratulatory message issued on behalf of his family, supporters, and teeming members of APGA across Orumba North and South, Dr. Nwankwor described the development as a landmark achievement for the entire constituency.* He said the approval marks the beginning of a new era for education in the area.
“This remarkable achievement is a testament to Dr. Maduka’s unwavering commitment to educational excellence, human capital development, and sustainable community advancement,” Dr. Nwankwor stated. He noted that few individuals have invested so deliberately in the future of their people.
He observed that the establishment of the university is not only a monumental milestone for Umuchukwu in Orumba South Local Government Area, but also a transformative development for Orumba, Anambra State, and Nigeria at large. According to him, the impact will be felt for generations.
The APGA candidate explained that the university comes at a time when Nigeria is in dire need of more medical schools and research institutions to train professionals and reduce medical tourism. He said Umuchukwu is now set to play a leading role in that effort.
