The Senate Committee on Army has expressed its condolences to the Nigerian Army and the nation over the death of Brigadier-General Oseni Omoh Braimah and other officers and men killed in the fight against insurgency. In a press release on Friday, the Committee’s Chairman, Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yar’adua, acknowledged the bravery and dedication of Nigerian troops.
Sen Yar’adua assured the military of the Legislative arm’s continued support and funding to enhance the Army’s capacity to tackle security challenges. This assurance is expected to boost the morale of the troops and reassure them of the nation’s commitment to their welfare.
