Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) Chairman, Hon. Christopher Zakka (Maikalangu), has extended warm greetings to residents, stakeholders, and party faithful as the council steps into June 2026. In a goodwill message signed by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Public Affairs, Kingsley Madaki, on June 1, 2026, the chairman described the new month as a fresh chapter to strengthen bonds and renew commitment to building a greater AMAC.
“To our resilient residents, your peace, security, and well-being remain the ultimate blueprint of this administration,” Maikalangu stated. He noted that June is a reminder that the council’s strength lies in its diversity and peaceful coexistence, and urged residents to continue fostering mutual respect, neighborly love, and unity across every community in AMAC.
The chairman also appreciated valued stakeholders for their partnership and constructive engagement, which he said have been vital to the visible progress recorded so far. He invited them to collaborate more closely in the new month to drive sustainable development across the length and breadth of the municipality.
To dedicated party faithful, Maikalangu described them as the engine room of the administration’s shared vision and torchbearers of progress. He called for deepened unity, mutual encouragement, and consolidated strength, adding that “together, in one voice and one purpose, we will keep delivering on our promises to the people.”
He reaffirmed that the council’s focus this month remains absolute: sustaining peace, accelerating development, and ensuring inclusive governance. According to him, efforts are being expanded in community electrification and local economic support to ensure that the dividends of democracy reach every doorstep in AMAC.
Maikalangu concluded by praying that June brings abundant blessings, harmony, and breakthrough to homes and businesses across the council area. “May this new month bring progress to all of us. Happy New Month,” he said.
