The APGA candidate for Orumba North/South Federal Constituency in the forthcoming general election, Dr. Odiraa Nwankwor, has commiserated with the Umeh family of Isulo Community over the passing of their beloved mother and sister, Late Lady Diamond Ngozi Umeh, nee Ezeanya.

Lady Umeh died at the age of 70. Her death was announced to the campaign organization over the week, prompting a condolence visit to the bereaved family.

In a press statement signed by the Dr. Odiraa Nwankwor Campaign Organization, Dr. Nwankwor described the death as a painful loss not only to the Umeh family but also to the entire Isulo community in Orumba South Local Government Area.

The candidate was represented by a delegation from the campaign organization led by the Director-General, Hon. Chris Amah. The team conveyed Dr. Nwankwor’s deep sympathy and solidarity with the family during this period of mourning.

“We pray for the peaceful repose of the soul of our dear mother, Lady Diamond Ngozi Umeh,” the statement quoted Dr. Nwankwor as saying. “We also ask God Almighty to grant her eternal rest and to give the Umeh family, friends, and the good people of Isulo the strength, comfort, and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.”

Hon. Amah, while addressing the family, urged them to take solace in the exemplary life, cherished memories, and lasting legacy of love and service that Late Lady Diamond Ngozi Umeh left behind.

Other members of the delegation included Hon. Festus Alukwue, Deputy DG of the Campaign Organization; Dr. Sam Oguagbaka, Secretary of the Campaign Organization; Hon. Ben Umeh, Coordinator of Dr. Odiraa Nwankwor Support Group, Orumba North; and Hon. Uchenna Anaekwe, Coordinator of Dr. Odiraa Nwankwor Support Group, Orumba South, alongside other members.

The campaign organization said Dr. Nwankwor remains committed to identifying with the people of Orumba North and South in both joy and grief, stressing that the unity and welfare of the constituency remain his priority as the 2027 elections approach.
