Chief Ambrose Egwuonwu has been described by supporters as a leader defined by accessibility, compassion, and commitment to the people of Orumba North and South Federal Constituency of Anambra State.
In a statement by the Ochubara Dike Ohia Media Team, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) aspirant was credited with maintaining constant presence and responding promptly to constituents’ needs. “Whenever the people call, he responds. Whenever there is a need, he listens,” the team said.
The statement noted that Egwuonwu has remained close to the grassroots for years, identifying with the struggles of youths, traders, farmers, and community leaders across the constituency. His leadership style, it added, is built on service, humility, and respect for the people.
According to the media team, Egwuonwu sees representation not as occupying a position but as being available, approachable, and accountable to those who gave him their mandate. This, they said, has earned him recognition not just as a politician but as a dependable voice and trusted son of Orumba.
With the 2027 elections approaching, supporters say Egwuonwu represents a future of effective representation, people-oriented leadership, and inclusive progress. The team expressed confidence that under him, constituents’ voices would be heard, respected, and defended at the national level.
Ahead of the APGA primary election scheduled for May 23, 2026, Egwuonwu called on registered party members in Orumba North and South to turn out in large numbers. He described the mission as one dedicated to progress, sustainable development, and effective representation.
Addressing “Umunne m, ndi Orumba,” the aspirant urged unity behind leadership that understands the needs and aspirations of the communities. “This is the time to stand behind leadership that genuinely understands the needs, aspirations, and future of our communities,” he said.
Egwuonwu, who holds the traditional title of Ochubara Dike Ohia II of Awa, said the goal is to build a future anchored on responsive leadership, unity, and people-oriented representation. “Come May 23, 2026, let us speak with one voice and stand together for positive, effective, and impactful representation,” he added.
