The Gen. Christopher Gwabin Musa Support Group for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Re-election has congratulated the Honourable Minister of Defence, General Christopher Gwabin Musa CFR, Rtd, on his recent conferment as Southern Kaduna Grand Commander by traditional rulers of Southern Kaduna.
Chief Ebiki Seimieyesighe Faithfull Hassan, National Coordinator of the Group and former Chairman of Southern Ijaw LGA, Bayelsa State, described the minister as “a dependable ally to President Tinubu and a symbol of national unity, discipline, and service.” Chief Hassan spoke through the Director of Media & Publicity, Dr. Piriye Kiyaramo, in Port Harcourt on Monday.
He said the traditional title and prestigious award were well deserved in recognition of General Musa’s outstanding leadership, distinguished service to the nation, and unwavering commitment to the progress, unity, and development of Southern Kaduna and Nigeria at large.
While congratulating him on the noble honour, Chief Hassan prayed to God to grant the minister more wisdom and courage as he pilots the affairs of national defence. “This recognition will inspire even greater accomplishments and continued service to humanity,” he stated.
The Support Group is a nationwide grassroots mobilization platform established to build support for President Tinubu’s re-election ahead of 2027. Its mandate includes promoting continuity anchored on security, economic reform, and national cohesion; strengthening civil-military relations by highlighting the Armed Forces’ role under General Musa; leveraging the minister’s profile as a unifying figure from Southern Kaduna to bridge ethnic and regional divides; and empowering grassroots leaders, traditional institutions, and youth groups for voter education and issue-based politics.
The Group maintains that General Musa’s stewardship at the Ministry of Defence aligns with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. It stressed that security and stability under his leadership remain the foundation for national development, peace restoration, and protection of critical infrastructure.
