As Muslims across the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) observe Juma’ah prayers, Hon. Joshua Chinedu Obika, sends a heartfelt message to the people of AMAC, Bwari and the entire FCT. His prayer centres on peace, unity, security and development, while asking Allah’s blessings upon families, youths, women, and the nation at large, writes Ekuson Nw’Ogbunka, Our Managing Editor in Abuja the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

“My dear brothers and sisters of AMAC, Bwari, and the entire FCT, as we gather for this blessed Jumu’ah, I pray that Allah (SWT) accepts all our acts of worship, forgives our sins, and showers His endless mercy upon every one of us,” Obika says.

The lawmaker entrusts his constituents to God’s care, praying for wellbeing in every home. “Ya Allah, I entrust my people to You. Bless every household with peace, love, good health, and abundant provision,” he states.

He asks for divine comfort for those facing difficulties. Obika prayed that Allah would heal the sick, strengthen the weak, and protect children across the territory.

Special prayers are offered for young people and the elderly. “Grant success to our youths, bless our women and elders, and make every lawful effort of our people fruitful,” he said, adding that God should replace worry with relief and setbacks with progress.

Obika also prays that every sincere supplication made on Friday would receive a beautiful answer. “Replace every sincere prayer with a beautiful answer. Ameen,” he says.

Beyond individual households, the lawmaker prayed for the collective good of FCT communities. He asks Allah to continue blessing them with peace, unity, security, and lasting development.

He urges residents to remain guided by justice and compassion. “May He guide us to always stand for justice, compassion, and the common good, and may He make us instruments of positive change wherever we find ourselves,” Obika says.

Looking ahead, he expresses hope that faith and shared commitment would drive progress. “As we look to the future with faith and hope, may Allah keep us united in purpose and bless every sincere effort aimed at improving the lives of our people,” he notes.

Obika therefore says that with God’s guidance and service to humanity, stronger communities can be built where everyone has opportunity to thrive. “Together, with His guidance and our shared commitment to service, we can continue building stronger communities,” he states.

He concludes with warm greetings for the holy day. “May this blessed Friday renew our faith, strengthen our hope, and fill our hearts with gratitude and compassion for one another. Juma’ah Mubarak to you and your families. May Allah (SWT) continue to bless AMAC, Bwari, the FCT, and our beloved nation, Nigeria. Ameen.”
