Supporters of Hon. Princess Chinwe Nnabuife say her tenure as the first female representative for Orumba North and South has shifted the constituency’s politics from rhetoric to measurable delivery, setting the stage for her re-election bid.
In a statement by Nwoke Uchenna Michael on Saturday, an advocate of the lawmaker popularly known as Adaejiejemba, Nnabuife’s time in the National Assembly has been defined by “a transition from rhetoric to tangible impact,” marking what he called a paradigm shift that cuts across party lines and gender barriers.
The statement highlighted her defection from YPP to APGA as a strategic alignment with Governor Charles Soludo’s “Solution” agenda. By joining the ruling state party, she has linked federal legislative work with state executive priorities to keep women, the girl child, and vulnerable groups in Orumba central to development, supporters argue.
Nnabuife is described as one of the few female voices in the National Assembly willing to challenge the status quo. Backers point to her focus on sustainable frameworks that move beyond “seasonal charity” toward structural support in education and vocational training.
Her legislative approach, according to the statement, addresses Orumba’s complex needs from infrastructure to social welfare, with an emphasis on high-impact projects. “She is navigating the complexities of Orumba’s needs with a focus on projects that matter,” Michael said.
Despite what the statement called “the typical frictions of a male-dominated political arena,” Nnabuife’s recent purchase of her expression of interest form signals a commitment to continuity. Her camp says she remains “unbowed” and focused on the “good work” that has become her hallmark.
The statement frames her re-election as a necessity for progress, arguing that her track record is her strongest credential as the race for the Green Chamber intensifies. “Supporting Princess Chinwe Nnabuife is no longer just a choice for the women of Orumba, it is a necessity for anyone who values progress over propaganda,” Michael stated.
For Orumba North and South, the statement concluded, the mandate of Adaejiejemba “is not just a seat in Abuja; it is the heartbeat of a constituency in transformation.”
