Senator Emmanuel Nwachukwu Ọnọdụgo has reaffirmed his commitment to delivering purposeful, people-oriented representation for the people of Anambra South Senatorial District. He said his focus remains on initiatives that directly improve livelihoods across the zone.
In agriculture, Ọnọdụgo said he will champion mechanized farming by facilitating access to modern agricultural equipment and supporting farmers with improved inputs. He added that he will also promote policies aimed at boosting food production, creating employment, and empowering youths and local farmers across the district.
The senator noted that agriculture remains one of the strongest pillars for sustainable economic growth, and that investing in it is key to reducing poverty and strengthening food security in Anambra South.
On education and healthcare, Ọnọdụgo reaffirmed his commitment to advocating for bills that better equip schools and provide educational support for indigent students. He also pledged to push for improved access to quality healthcare, including affordable health insurance schemes targeted at the elderly and vulnerable members of society.
Senator Nwachukwu further pledged to continue championing initiatives that complement the Anambra Vision 2070 agenda of Governor Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, CFR. His priorities, he said, include youth empowerment, vocational skills acquisition, entrepreneurship, peacebuilding, and creating an enabling environment for businesses to thrive across Anambra South.
The senator urged constituents to continue supporting APGA and his mandate, saying the collective goal is “Maka Oganiru Anambra South Senatorial District.” He added that the drive will be sustained under the themes #OnodugoContinues #WeBelieveinOnodugo #NkeabuNkeAnyiAPGA.
