Hon. Joshua Chinedu Obika, Member representing AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has extended warm felicitations to fathers and father figures on the occasion of Father’s Day. In a statement he signed by himself and made avdi to media houses on Sunday being the day of the celebration, Obika acknowledged the sacrifices and dedication of fathers in building strong homes.
The lawmaker noted that fathers play an invaluable role in shaping families and society through guidance, hard work, and commitment to raising responsible children. He said their influence goes beyond parenting to impact community values and national development.
According to Obika, strong families remain the bedrock of every progressive nation, and fathers carry the noble responsibility of instilling integrity, discipline, compassion, and hope in the next generation. He commended their resilience and urged them to keep leading by example.
Obika prayed for God’s continued strength, wisdom, and blessings upon all fathers in AMAC/Bwari and across Nigeria. He urged them to remain steadfast as mentors, leaders, and pillars of support, stressing that their sacrifices are critical to societal stability.
