With deep humility and faith in God, the PATDI Youth Initiative has announced a vision it describes as bigger than one person: a movement to build a Crime-Free Society among Nigerian youths.

Convener, Ambassador Princess Anita Umeweni, said by the mercies of the Lord, the group will host the 1st National Youth Summit on Crime-Free Society on June 30, 2026 at an iconic venue in Abuja under the PATDI initiative. The summit will run with the slogan: “CRIME-FREE SOCIETY… WE MUST GET IT RIGHT!”

Organizers say this is not just another event. They describe it as a movement for national transformation, a movement to rescue destinies, and a movement to restore values among teenagers and youths across the country.

The project is also part of a proposed Guinness World Record attempt focused on the longest-running youth-driven advocacy for a Crime-Free Society among teenagers. The record bid is expected to draw global attention to youth-led solutions to crime.

Umeweni noted that every day, many young people are losing direction through cybercrime, cultism, drugs, violence, and negative peer pressure. “Instead of watching the future collapse, we have chosen to stand up and build hope,” she stated.

The summit will gather youths, students, security agencies, educators, volunteers, and mentors. The goal is to inspire a new generation built on character, purpose, innovation, and responsibility.

“But we cannot do this alone,” the convener said. She is calling on friends and well-wishers across Nigeria and abroad to support the vision financially and spiritually to ensure its success.

To aid donations, organizers listed contribution tiers: ₦1,000 to be part of history; ₦5,000 for youth awareness materials; ₦10,000 to mobilize volunteers; ₦20,000 to sponsor a student/youth delegate; ₦100,000 to support a section of the summit; and ₦1 million and above to become a strategic partner in nation building.

The initiative concluded with a call for nationwide support. “This is about the future of Nigeria. This is about saving lives and destinies. History is possible. Transformation is possible. A Crime-Free Society is possible. Together… We Must Get It Right,” Ambassador Umeweni declared.
