The South East Elders and Youths Alliance for Tinubu (SEEYAT ’27) has welcomed Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo’s efforts to strengthen working relations between Anambra State and the Federal Government.
In a statement made available to the media on Thursday, the group said improved cooperation between Awka and Abuja could create greater opportunities for the South-East.
The statement was signed by National Coordinator, Hon. Engr. Humphrey C. Nsofor; National Secretary, AIG (Mrs.) Augustina Ogbodo (Rtd.); and National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Sir Basil C. Ejidike.
SEEYAT ’27 said meaningful engagement with the Federal Government would enable the region to better advance its interests within the federation.
The group described constructive dialogue and partnership as important tools for strengthening relations between the South-East and the Federal Government.
It also said its position reflected what it described as the political philosophy of the late Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe, who championed Igbo participation in national politics and governance.
SEEYAT ’27 expressed readiness to collaborate with the Anambra State Government and other stakeholders to promote greater regional engagement with the Federal Government.
The alliance further said it would continue to support initiatives promoting inclusion and greater South-East participation in national affairs.
