Dr. Nnamdi Onyeanuna, popularly known as Efeigbo, has endorsed Hon. Chinedu Obika of the Accord Party, describing him as a politician who has demonstrated purposeful representation and the capacity to attract meaningful development to his constituency.
Stating that representation in a functional democracy should be measured by performance, impact, accessibility, competence, accountability and tangible dividends delivered to the people, he maintained that Obika had clearly demonstrated these qualities through projects and interventions that, according to him, reached communities across Abuja and beyond his Federal Constituency.
He described Obika, popularly known as Ikeoha, as a representative who had changed the narrative by combining accessibility, capacity, experience and strong national contacts to attract federal projects and opportunities for youths and communities in and around Abuja.
According to him, the Ikeoha’s approach to representation was anchored on the principle that no community should be forgotten and that elected representatives should remain actively engaged with the people rather than operate through proxies. He said Obika’s presence in the National Assembly had set a standard for what effective representation should be.
The statement further argued that effective representation requires commitment from the beginning of a mandate, continuous engagement with constituents and the ability to convert legislative access into tangible benefits for the people. Onyeanuna therefore urged voters to support continuity, stressing that Abuja needed experience and proven capacity rather than starting afresh.
While consequently calling on the electorate to vote for Obika and the Accord Party, and describing the choice as a vote for continuity and greater dividends of democracy, he expressed optimism that Obika’s return would lead to more development and opportunities for the people, particularly the youths.
