Electorates of Orumba North and South Federal Constituency have been called upon to seize the 2027 general election as a historic opportunity to end what has been described as years of representation that yielded little impact or even nothing.
In a statement released by the Dr. Odiraa Nwankwor Campaign Organization within the week, Ndi Orumba were urged to reject the politics of trading the people’s mandate for personal gain. The group lamented that the constituency has, for too long, received little or no evidence of effective representation at the National Assembly.
“This election is about more than just electing a federal house of representative member,” the statement read. “It is about restoring our people’s dignity and ensuring that Orumba’s collective mandate is protected and used solely for the benefit of the constituency.”
The campaign organization described the emergence of Dr. Odiraa Nwankwor as the APGA candidate for Orumba North/South as “both timely and divinely appointed.” It noted that at a time when the constituency is “politically bleeding and longing for healing and liberation,” his candidacy offers new hope for purposeful leadership.
Dr. Nwankwor, according to the statement, comes with an outstanding leadership pedigree and is prepared to provide quality representation, defend Ndi Orumba’s interests, and lift the constituency out of political obscurity.
The campaign outlined his vision as one anchored on service, accountability, and long-term development for all communities in Orumba North and South. Key areas of focus, it added, will include infrastructure, youth empowerment, healthcare, and attracting federal presence to the constituency.
“Therefore, Ndi Orumba, wipe your tears and dust your shoes, for the messenger has arrived,” the statement declared, calling on voters to rally behind a leader “dedicated to the people and whose mission is to usher in a new era of progress, effective representation, and mutual prosperity.”
The organization concluded that with Dr. Nwankwor, the people reject personal interest politics, and build “the Orumba of our dreams.”
“A new Orumba is possible with Dr. Odiraa Nwankwor,” it stated.
