Hon. Joshua Chinedu Obika, Member of the House of Representatives, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Late Mazi Chinedum Erondu, who passed away suddenly after a brief illness.
In a condolence message, Obika said he received the news with a heavy heart and a deep sense of grief, while submitting completely to the will of God Almighty, who gives and takes life.
The federal lawmaker commiserated with the family, friends and loved ones of the deceased, saying he shares in their pain and grief at this difficult and trying moment.
Obika prayed to God Almighty to grant the bereaved family the strength, comfort and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss, while asking God to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased.
He further prayed that Mazi Chinedu Erondu be granted eternal rest and that his soul rest in perfect peace. Amen.
