As the curtain rises on the month of August, the President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Cross River State Chapter, Chief Ambrose Chukwuemeka Egwuonwu, has extended warm felicitations to the good people of Orumba North and South Federal Constituency. He described the new month as a season of grace and fresh possibilities for Ndi Igbo both at home and in the diaspora.
In his goodwill message, Chief Egwuonwu prayed that August brings renewed hope, abundant blessings, sound health, and greater opportunities to every family in Orumba. He noted that the month marks the beginning of the harvest season, a time that symbolizes God’s faithfulness and the reward for hard work and perseverance.
The Ohanaeze leader also urged Ndi Orumba to remain steadfast in the values that bind the community together. He called on them to continue embracing love, unity, peace, and mutual understanding, stressing that these virtues remain the bedrock for progress and sustainable development in the constituency.
Chief Egwuonwu emphasized that development thrives where there is harmony. According to him, when a people stand united in purpose, they attract growth, attract investment, and create a safe and prosperous environment for the next generation. He encouraged leaders, youths, women, and elders to work together in building a stronger Orumba.
He expressed optimism that this season of harvest will usher in greater prosperity for Orumba North and South. He prayed that it strengthens the bonds of brotherhood among the people and inspires collective action toward a brighter and more secure future for the constituency.
