Dr. Odira Nwankwo, the All Progressives Grand Alliance candidate for Orumba Federal Constituency, has thanked voters for their support following his emergence in the party’s primary election. He said the turnout reflected the people’s desire for a greater Orumba.
In a message to Ndi Orumba in Saturday, Nwankwo said weeks of touring the constituency allowed him and his team to listen to residents’ concerns and share their vision for the area. He noted that the orderly conduct at the polls showed confidence in that vision.
The candidate assured constituents that he would not betray the trust placed in him, promising to work tirelessly to improve livelihoods across Orumba North and South. He also pledged to remain loyal to APGA and to contribute to the party’s success in the general elections.
Nwankwo expressed gratitude to Anambra State Governor, Prof. Charles Soludo, for his support and commitment to building a progressive national party. He also acknowledged APGA National Chairman, Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa, and executives at both national and local levels for standing with his campaign.
He extended appreciation to fellow aspirants Hon. Okwudili Ezenwankwo, Hon. Chinwe Nnabuife, and Hon. Ambrose Egwuonwu, commending them for their maturity and cooperation throughout the process.
He further thanked his campaign team for their sacrifices, noting that many endured sleepless nights and set aside personal commitments to ensure the success of the exercise. He described the victory as a collective achievement.
Outlining his focus, the candidate said his priority would be to use lawmaking as a tool to advance development and address the needs of Orumba Federal Constituency. He reiterated that the mandate belongs to the people.
Nwankwo concluded by calling on all stakeholders to remain united behind the goal of delivering effective representation, saying that together they could make Orumba a model constituency in Anambra State.
